Aspecta Makes Its Mark In the European Flooring Market

From zero to two hundred in 24 months

The total number of designs now available via the three collections: FIVE, TEN and ONE exceeds 200. ASPECTA ONE thus rounds off the product offering for the contract market in an optimum manner.

ASPECTA ONE: one step ahead

The 46 designs are explicitly tailored to the European market and unmistakeably bear the signature of Claudia Kunath, the Head of Product Development and Marketing. It is the first collection to have been developed in full under her leadership. The natural-like wood and stone designs look amazingly authentic thanks to their precise finishes and pleasantly warm feel. They can create both stylish light effects and radiate harmonious peace and warmth.

Material-related features: coloured concrete and small-format wood

Two highlights of the ASPECTA ONE collection are the colour options: Midtown Prism from the STONE range and Patterned Floors from the WOOD range. Midtown Prism encompasses six on trend colours, collected from cities around the world. Vivid shades with a modern style give the textured concrete design a new look, and can be used as a bold, singular statement or together to create a multi-colour effect. Patterned Floors pays homage to classic parquet laying patterns. The products come pre-cut in eight stunning colourways, and design classics like Wicket, Herringbone and Checker Block can be easily created without any additional installation effort – the potential for creative flooring design is endless!

In the case of all ASPECTA ONE designs, whether large or small, the top layer of 0.55 mm offers high abrasive resistance, thus guaranteeing excellent durability. The easy-care floor coverings are therefore particularly well-suited to use in contract locations with high usage frequency, such as hotels, retail outlets, health service establishments, and in public buildings such as schools, kindergartens and universities.

ASPECTA ONE is the company’s third collection

Marcel Kies, Managing Director of ASPECTA ERME, comments: “We are very happy that we are expanding our European presence at such a pace. When we launched at DOMOTEX 2015, we set out ambitious plans but we have more than achieved those landmarks. Not only do we have a fantastic portfolio in terms of both design and performance, but we are supporting these three ranges with outstanding marketing. We have had excellent feedback and it seems that ASPECTA really is revolutionising the LVT market.”

One year ago, in January 2016, the manufacturer launched its innovative, modular, multi-layer collection ASPECTA TEN. The special feature of this is its multi-layer structure: the ISOCORE® backing layer provides high form stability with relatively low weight. Supported by the ‘drop & lock’ locking system, planks even measuring 1800 mm can be laid precisely and quickly. The 100% watertight flooring with sound-insulating backing can be laid without difficulty on most substrates – on old floor coverings and uneven substrates too.

Developed following consultation with architects, designers and contractors, ASPECTA FIVE is the ultimate Dryback flooring. The abstract collection has received an especially good reception from the architect and interior designer community, outperforming the market offering from an aesthetic as well as practical perspective throughout its vast choice of designs, colours, embosses and sizes.

The range comprises over 100 beautiful tiles and planks and extends from light, Scandinavian woods to industrial, urban abstract designs. With 52 woodgrain planks, 33 stone & masonry tiles, and 24 abstracts, the designs span metal, solid hues, concrete, wood and stone visuals, all enhanced by the most authentic textures available. The collections core characteristics make it suitable for a host of demanding commercial high-traffic environments like retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, government and commercial buildings.
