Aspecta Builds Momentum Across European Flooring Market
This autumn sees ASPECTA launch its third range of LVT flooring. When ASPECTA launched into Europe at Domotex in January 2015, the new LVT brand laid down an ambitious plan to challenge the contract flooring market. Within 18 months, ASPECTA has developed an impressive portfolio comprising nearly 200 designs across three ranges, with a presence in a total of 18 territories.
The innovative, modular multilayer ASPECTA TEN followed on from the expansive ASPECTA FIVE. These two collections will shortly be joined by the aesthetically stunning ASPECTA ONE.
All three were created by an internationally renowned design team and feature highly engineered products. The whole portfolio is extremely durable and easy to maintain, and is consequently ideal for all built environments with high footfall, including the hospitality, retail, healthcare, corporate and education sectors.
Samples can be despatched within 48 hours from ASPECTA’s European Head Office in the Netherlands, where full stocks are kept for all three ranges.

A perfect 10
The recently launched, highly innovative ASPECTA TEN represents the next stage in the evolution of LVT as a category. It features highly advanced ISOCORE Technology® (for which a patent is pending in US), which means that it is very strong yet incredibly light. A multi-layered, 10mm thick LVT clic flooring system, it consists of high-density PE foam and extruded structural PVC with a 0.7mm LVT wear layer. This floor will be part of a new category called Modular Multilayer Flooring.
ASPECTA TEN is highly durable, easy to install and maintain, and is 100% waterproof. It also absorbs sound very well, making it particularly appropriate for hotels and conference centres.
It is available in three different sizes, including a 1,800mm XXL plank which is unique in the European clic flooring market.
The range of 34 designs provides a great deal of flexibility as specifiers can choose from wood, stone and leather-look finishes, all in natural colours.
ASPECTA FIVE is the ultimate Dryback flooring – offering a vast choice of designs, colours, embosses and sizes. It comprises over 100 beautiful tiles and planks - 52 woods, 33 stones and 24 abstracts. The collection extends from light, Scandinavian woods to industrial, urban abstract designs – evidence of the trend scouting undertaken by ASPECTA’s award winning international designers. Piermont, for example, is a painted wood design with a unique layered finish, created by combining a pearlescent effect, abstract design and wood embossing texture – and is genuinely unique! Piermont won the prestigious American Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Award in 2015.
One step beyond
This autumn sees the arrival of ASPECTA ONE. Comprising 46 trendsetting tiles and planks, with colours to suit any space, this range is a very exciting addition. With a 0.55mm wear layer, the Dryback range of woods, stones and abstracts is enhanced by embosses that create authentic, eye-catching textures - complementing the details of the respective original natural materials. ASPECTA ONE’s stones and masonry collection has a striking cosmopolitan feel, while the eclectic woods portfolio ranges from light, uplifting hues to deep, rich warming tones.
Flagship lines include the Patterned Flooring wood range which features eight stunning colourways in 4” x 24”/101.6mm x 609.6mm planks, with bevelled edges to further emphasise their visual appeal. The products come pre-cut and design classics like Wicket, Herringbone and Checker Block can be easily created without any additional installation effort – indeed the potential for creative flooring design is endless!
Midtown Prism has also previewed very well due to its unique selection of on-trend colours which can be used as a bold, singular statement or together to create a multi-colour effect.
Marcel Kies adds: “The arrival of ASPECTA ONE will bring the total number of lines to nearly 200, which is a terrific achievement, we believe, having started from scratch in January 2015.
